A brand transformation that combines Taiwan’s locality with a new future

Taipower has accumulated many assets and earned itself a solid reputation over the years, yet most people still hold onto associations with older, traditional companies. In recent years, Taipower has ventured into energy transition, and it was their wish that through image films, they would be able to convey the brand’s transformation from a state-owned enterprise into a pioneer of energy that drives the future of change and development.

We summarized their value in one phrase, “Taipower, Empowering Taiwan,” deeply rooting the brand’s new image in people’s minds. The reason was that Taiwan itself is an island that gathers inner strength; it has the abundant vitality of nature, excellent digital power of society, and the vigorous innovation of its people. These are all sources of energy that Taipower uses to drive future transformation.

The filming went hundreds of meters underground and over 3000 meters above sea level, and a video of merely 140 seconds managed to capture 43 breathtaking views of Taiwan. The visual language adopted the imagery of the forward momentum of power transmission, radiating light, agglomeration, and diffusion, and three different geometric figures were disassembled from the Taipower logo to express the power of Taiwan. These powers undergo mutual integration and transformation, and finally push the whole of Taiwan to step into the future.
